We Will Meet Again in Bangkok

Andy needed to extend his stay in LA to help Nicole get all her last minute things done and keep her somewhat under control. She now has a Visa; she never thought it would actually happen!!! Andy will be the first of the two to take a mandatory vacation because he does not have a Visa. His paper work should be done when we arrive so that he can apply for a visa on return from his temporary exile.

It was very weird when Nicole and Andy said goodbye at the airport. They knew the next time they would see each other would be in Bangkok and that the thousands of dollars spent on plane tickets to see each other would soon be used to buy plane tickets for trips together. What a wonderful and exciting thought!

Friday (the day before we leave) Nicole is giving Carmax $1,700.00 to take away her leased car that they said was in perfect condition...what a deal!

Last night Nicole texted Andy at 4:30am "Please remind me to call my insurance, they never put the money back into my account" because she had been lying in bed repeating the mantra "call insurance, call insurance" but figured an extra reminder would help. It wasn't surprising that Andy instantaneously responded with "ok, I need to call utilities too". Nicole found some comfort in knowing that she is not the only one getting 2-3 hours of sleep at night.

Poor Tommy had surgery yesterday and is in a lot of pain. Although it is hard to say who we should feel sorrier for the drugged up patient who has a tube sticking out of his neck and bandaged wrapped around to catch the drainage...or the one who has to change it when it starts to seep through. Poor poor Danni.

We had a great time at our Party thank you for coming and sending us off. A special thank you to Jason for providing the delicious food, wine, and putting up with a drunken sister who made a bed out of bar stools...we're not naming any names.

Thanks to Mom and Chris for putting us up at the B&B in Port Ludlow (their house). It was a very relaxing 2 days that Nicole and Andy desparetly needed. We would be happy to take Amy's furniture off of your hands upon our return if it is still cluttering up the place.

A special thank you to Stacey and Keaton for an unforgettable night of drinking and dancing, that was SOOOO much fun! What a great memory to take to Thailand!

Also, thank you to all the teacher girls for a fabulous send off with brunch and so many gifts!!!

One more thank you to Lauren and Sean for a fabulous party at their house with tons of great food, air hockey and whiffle ball softball. Nicole is very happy to announce her childhood was not wasted on private lessons and travel ball because she is still exceptionally skilled in softball. It may have been whiffle ball, but in a dress, heels, and beer in hand she was 2 for 2! Whoo hoo!

We are so happy that family is already all set to come in October! We will be looking forward to spending time with you and relieved to get those small items we forgot (that's not why we are happy you are coming we just know ourselves and are certain there will be a few requests).

Hugs to all,

I feel another thank you is in order for the person who gave it his/her all, until she/he had no more left to give. She/he was entertainment at her/his own expensive. A giver of sorts (sorry Jason! You really should start kicking people out at a certain point...I do remember being labeled "fun" though, that MIGHT be good? Not sure)...Tommy continues to drain out of the tube in his neck. The tube is going to be removed tomorrow. I kinda feel like while people have drainage tubes in their necks they should be in the hospital. I'm pretty sure that I did not go to medical school and therefore should not be in charge of tubing. Who knows, maybe I was drunk?
