Being Irish

in Thailand is hard work. A new pub "The Irish" just opened so of course, being the good Irish folk we are, we HAD to go. But did it have to open on a Thursday night and give away bottles of wine? Not only is it hard to be Irish in Thailand, it is also hard to be a lady. Crazy events happen nightly at various places advertising "free margaritas for ladies on Tuesdays" "Free wine for ladies on Wednesdays" "Free cocktails for ladies on Mondays" Thailand loves to give away free booze, and now that we hang out with other Irish folk, it seems that being Irish is a lot like being Mexican.
